At Agde ( 50-60 min.)


Plage de la Grande Conque

This beach is special because it consists of black volcanic sand and the cliff of volcanic rock. On this beach you will find no beach tent or supervision.
Plage Richelieu, Plage Le Môle and Plage La Roquille

The beaches are spacious, safe family beaches with fine sand and many great beach tents where you can, for example, also reserve beach beds and do many beach activities. Plage Roquille is generally less busy.

This beautiful wide sandy beach borders the beaches of Agde and runs along various campsites. An aid station and various beach bars are available here.
 Plage de Bagnas

This beach is specially intended for lovers of naturism.

 

Direction Sète  ( 60 min.)

The 12 km of beaches west of Sète are wide and clean. They lie on a headland with Etang de Thou on the north side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other side. The long coastal road from Agde leads you past vineyards, nature reserve and salt-sweet inland waters. In the summer it can be quite busy. Along the road there are various exits to the large beach car parks. You only have to walk a short distance.

 

At Valras-Plage ( 45 min.)

Valras-Plage is a popular resort in the region.
Plage des Mouettes

Valras-Plage is a popular, bustling resort in the region. There is a lot to experience and see on the busy sandy beach of Plage des Mouettes. You can rent sun loungers for the day and participate in various sporting activities, whether or not for a fee.
Plage des Orpellières

This beach is known by nature as the most 'wild' beach in the region. The beach extends over 1.5 km and is bordered by a beautiful row of dunes. On this beach you can also find a quiet place in high season. In the summer, beach surveillance and an aid station are available.
